By creating an account or using Cadenz ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use Cadenz.
Cadenz is a personal and team workspace for worship musicians. It helps you manage chord charts, setlists, key decisions, and team sharing. It is a tool — the content you create belongs to you.
- —You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- —You are responsible for keeping your password secure
- —You must be 13 years or older to use Cadenz
- —One person per account — accounts are not transferable
You own your content. Songs, setlists, chord charts, and other data you create in Cadenz belong to you. We do not claim any ownership over your content.
By using Cadenz, you grant us a limited licence to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You may delete your content and your account at any time.
Cadenz is a tool for organising chord charts and setlists. You are responsible for ensuring your use of song material complies with applicable copyright law and your CCLI licence.
Cadenz does not store lyrics. Cadenz does not grant you any rights to copyrighted songs. If you upload chord charts or ChordPro files, you confirm you have the right to use that material under your church's CCLI licence or equivalent.
You agree not to use Cadenz to:
- —Violate any law or regulation
- —Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- —Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
- —Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service
- —Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service
Certain features (including email sharing and the Audio Transposer) require a Pro subscription.
- —Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
- —You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period
- —We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods
- —We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
We aim to keep Cadenz running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Cadenz is provided "as is." We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any loss caused by downtime.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- —Cadenz is provided without warranty of any kind
- —We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- —Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
